Bangkok, Thailand, April 24, 2024 — The AI Community held the ‘EP.5: GOOD DOCTOR – Health Tech Event’ on April 24 at King Power Mahanakhon. The event brought together experts to discuss the impact of AI across various sectors.
The meetup included discussions that went beyond healthcare, reflecting the community’s vision for the role of AI. The panel featured Dr. Dick Zeilstra, Dr. Jinhatha Panyasorn, and Mr. Constantin Hofstetter, who provided insights into AI applications.
The evening began with an opening video that set the tone for the start. This introduction was followed by presentation from BlueResources on a current state of AI Foundation Models in Healthcare and importance of CTP/ICD codes on implementation AI in healthcare. Dr. Jinhatha Panyasorn then presented on AI applications in hospitals, demonstrating a significant increase in efficiency for repetitive tasks.
The panel discussion featured Dr. Dick Zeilstra, who overviewed AI advancements in operative techniques that enhance surgical procedures. Mr. Constantin Hofstetter discussed strategies for overcoming technological barriers in AI implementation.
Workshops at the event provided attendees with exposure to AI applications in various sectors. These included medical training, patient support, administrative applications, vision analysis, and physical therapy. Highlights included demonstrations of augmented surgical applications using Apple Vision Pro, the use of computer vision to monitor patient movement in physiotherapy, and AI-driven data collection to develop exercise plans for patients.
Dave Davani, Founder of BlueResources, emphasized the community’s mission to disseminate information and foster collaboration. The community, part of Blue Resources, an AI research firm, aims to connect AI innovations in Southeast Asia.
